under the mountain

We just finished a book called under the mountain the cool thing is that the Arther lives in Nelson. it was a really good book my favorite part was when the Wilberforce's were chasing Rachael and Theo. Rachael and Theo are the main characters and the Wilberforce's are the bad guys.

harry potter night

on Friday 12th of November our class had a harry potter night it was super fun we each had to bring a dish Sam's one was the best he called it dfc dragon fried children i dressed up as harry potter Ben's costume was the best he dressed up as nearly head less nick

athletics

Yesterday on the 11th of November I said... OH MY GOD MY LEGS HURT! we had to do sprints' long jump, long distance running' high jump and ball throw i think i did pretty well

Air guitar

Today the 3 of November we are trying to get 400 people doing air guitar. We have got 812 dollars from people sponsoring us. The song we are playing is smoke on the water we are having a smoke machine it is going to be cool.

Paul the octopus

Every one is very sad that Paul the octopus has passed away. if you don't know who he is i will tell you now he is an octopus not just a normal octopus he is a psychic he predicted who would win the games of the world cup but very sadly he passed away yesterday.

Cycle safety

On the 14th of October our class had Cycle safety with constable John Donavan it was really fun apart from the big jump that i called the nut cracker we learnt the four rules to cycling number 1 left gives way to all number 2 right gives way to straight number 3 always give way to right number 4 manners.

2010 room7 science

This term we are doing lots of science. We got to light candles in class and we get to do experiments my grope is doing just juice bubbles with soda water ra ro other gropes are doing bottle rockets and stuff like that.

Christchurch earthquake

Recently in Christchurch there has been a big earthquake it has destroyed lots of buildings and left giant cracks in the path there is only sixty streets with fresh water

fundraising for camp

We are going to start fundraising for camp in term 4 we are going to go to golden bay for three nights so we are going to star selling juices and have a cake stall and have a quiz night.

winter tornerment

on the 24th we had a winter tournament I played basketball and we won all of games and drew one against the other nelson central school team and the other team won all there games as well the other chooses were soccer rugby netball volleyball hockey it was really fun

speeches

this term our class is doing speeches. I don't know what I am going to yet but I now that it is going to be really fun I don't think I am going to do good at them.

may the force be with you Rubber band cars

On the sixth of August we started making cars to race against other classes Quinn Max and I were in a group and we worked well together.In the last twenty minutes of the time before the race max had to make a bigger wheel. I was really nervous but also confident. when it was time to race we had to go to the hall and all sit down and wait for the first car to go it was really good it went nine meters all the other ones were pretty bad then it was our turn max let go of the car and it went six meters long then the second time max wound it the wrong way and it went backwards . then it was Bianca's turn and it went 11 meters long well room 7 won it was awesome.

Last week we made a football team for our class we did trials for the team and I got in I was in center mid for the first game we drew two all and then for the second game we drew one all I think we are going to win next time.

Inqiry

Me Quinn and max are making a car powerd by a rubber band we have nearly finished we are using cups and a rubber band and cardbord for the wheels.

On Friday 28th of May I did the amazing race in my team there was me, Quinn,Devon and
Kyle. Before we started my team discussed where we would go first. We thought that we should go for the hardest first, the center of NZ when we got to the top we had a rest and took a photo of the mark at the top of the center of NZ. When we finished we all got a free mini chocolate bar. The team with the most points got 970 my team only got 840 points.

The Holidays are cool!!!!

In my holidays It was my birthday party and we went to the movie how to train a dragon in 3d it was so Cool!!!!!!! after that we went to maitai riva and had pizza for lunch

The awesomest day ever!!!!!!!!

On Wednesday we are going for a swim at Riva side pool and I am going to try to swim 70 metres. Then when we get back to school we are having Find out awards and a pizza lunch!! it is going to be the coolest day ever!!!!!!!

Hi my name is Ronan this term we have been reading a book called the cay and we started to make a model of the cay.In my model of the cay I have a white ten year old boy and a black negro man and a stew cat on a raft. All the cay models are in the libery.

Camp

A few days ago my class went to camp at Cable Bay. First we put up the tent and then we went paint balling. I made lots of people surrender. I got shot in the leg twice in the helmet twice and in the chest once. After paint balling we went to the Cable Bay beach for a BBQ. In the morning we walked up Peppin island and back down.

Swimming carnival

Hi my name is Ronan. Yesterday we had the school Swimming Carnival. I was really exited when was my turn to race. I stood up on the edge of the pool and dived into the water. I was like a rocket in the water. I finished, hopped out of the water, sat down on my chair and waited for my next race.Soon enough it was my next race. I had to do nine and under boys breathstroke. I stood up on the edge of the pool again and splash! I dived into the pool I was swimming like mad. I zoomed past everybody and before you know it I was at the finish line.

Tryathlon

yesterday I did the tryathlon I was really excited when it was my race.I lined up at the start line Bang everyone run up Willow Walk and on to the back field I sprinted up the steps through the adventure play ground. splash!I jumped into the pool and swam parst the bouy and back I hopped out of the pool.I ran to my bike and jumpd on I zoomd parst everybody I was really farst I sed through the finish line. I was pooped.
